引導定語從句的關系副詞有三個：when,where,why,都在定語從句中擔任狀語。when 既可引導限制性定語從句，又可引導非限制性定語從句。where既可引導限制性定語從句，又可引導非限制性定語從句。why只能引導限制性定語從句。

關系副詞where的用法

where既可引導限制性定語從句，又可引導非限制性定語從句。先行詞是地點名詞，在從句中充當?shù)攸c狀語，相當于：“介詞+which”。如：

關系副詞why的用法

why只能引導限制性定語從句，先行詞只有reason一詞，在從句中充當原因狀語，相當于：“for + which”。如：
